It's a cool implementation, though obviously not everyone can take advantage of it. You can be as good or as bad as you want to, but getting through the various chapters will cost you $2.50 a pop. Your job is to navigate the story and the terrain to get to an "ark" safe zone that's free of a deadly gas destroying mankind. This Is Not A Test uses the somewhat played-out post-apocalyptic wasteland setting. I'm glad we're finally getting a steady stream of gamebooks that aren't from Tin Man - no offense to those developers, but a little variety is always welcome. Take out enemy alliances with infantry, artillery, tanks, warplanes, battleships and submarines and earn your stripes as an ingenious commander at the PACIFIC FRONT. Army on their campaign or command the Japanese forces on their mission. Military combat at its best.Choose the right tactics and use your commando to defeat the enemy. Own the battlefield and send your soldiers to the frontline. Join the navy and fight to win the battle of your life. The battle continues after “1941 Frozen Front” – and this time, it’s all about naval warfare. But you're still going to fall hard to anyone who's bought their way to the top of the leaderboard. It's not as bad as some others: there's only one in-app currency and you can pay two bucks to permanently remove advertising. with heavy-handed multiplayer and IAP mechanics thrown in for good measure. Pacific Front falls somewhere between the top-down formula of war games like Red Alert and the turn-based mechanics of games like Civilization.
